Co-curricular life at VP
Victoria Park CI is a student-centered school which strives to maintain its traditions of academic, athletic and artistic excellence, to educate the whole person, and to encourage all students to reach their individual potential. We offer exciting leadership opportunities with an extensive array of school organizations and teams. Clubs, teams, and the student government offer numerous opportunities to explore interests and connect with those who share them.
There is an extensive range of courses offered across a variety of departments.
All of our teachers are highly competent and dedicated to making the student successful in their academic life. As well, we boast a successful peer-tutoring program where students help younger students be successful. All of these factors contribute to an encouraging academic environment which fosters creativity and the desire to learn.
Victoria Park CI was the first public school in Ontario to host the highly prestigious and universally recognized International Baccalaureate program. As an IB World School, Victoria Park incorporates values such as integrity, internationalism and social responsibility into its curriculum. IB teachers build learning experiences around students’ existing knowledge and interests, and help them discover the correlation between various subjects.
